It's amazing how God can speak right to my heart at the very moment I need Him to. I've been struggling with keeping one foot in the world and one foot in the the Kingdom of Heaven. I know exactly where I want to be and should be, but it's so crazy how the pull of the world can tug at me. Holy smokes! So yesterday I was having a particularly hard struggle with wanting what this world can give me (which by the way is a lot of NOTHINGNESS), and I sat down and opened my bible. I just started the book of Galatians and while I was reading chapter 1, verse 10 really stood out to me.
"Am I trying to win the approval of men, or of God? Or am I still trying to please men? If I were still trying to please men, I would not be a servant of Christ."
Alright God, I got Your message LOUD AND CLEAR. THANK YOU!!!!! It just made me breathe a sigh of relief because I have been struggling so much, but there it is clear as day! So today, I may still have struggles with the world, but with God at the lead, I can keep my eyes on the prize (the Kingdom of Heaven, in case you didn't know)!! ;-)
